Cancellation & Reservation Policies:
Weekend (Saturday & Sunday): Reservation must be cancelled by 4pm the day prior to your arrival date or the first nights room and tax will be charged.

Weekday (Sunday-Thursday): Reservation must be cancelled by 4pm day of arrival or the first nights room and tax will be charged.
Special Event Weeks: 3 Day Cancellation Policy - If you need to cancel less than three days prior to the date of arrival during a

Minimum Stay Requirements: Many Saturday nights stays and all special event weekends require 2 or 3 night minimum stays. If a reservation is made over a weekend or event period in which a minimum stay is required, the reservation will not be able to be able to changed to less than the minimum number of nights required. Please call the hotel directly for details.

St. Olaf & Carleton Graduation Weekends: Require Pre-Payment for all nights 30 Days in Advance of Arrival. Cancellation for St. Olaf and Carleton Graduation Weekends must be made 30 days in Advance. Cancellation of rooms on St. Olaf & Carleton Graduation Weekends will be refunded if the hotel is able to resell the room(s).

Room Rates and Tax information:
All rates are for up to 2 guests per Cozy or Larger Room, 4 guests per Executive Room and up to 5 guests in our two room suites. Additional guests are billed at $10.00 per night plus tax. 9.5% sales and lodging tax applies to all guest room rates and packages. Roll a way beds are available in Large, Executive and Suites for $10.00 per night plus tax.

Credit Card Policy
The Archer House River Inn accepts the following credit cards: American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Diners Club. Debit cards will be charged at check-in for the total amount of the stay plus a security deposit of $30.00 per night.

Check-in and Checkout Times
Check-in - 3 p.m. Checkout - 11 a.m.

Guest Room Guarantee
While the vast majority of the time we are able to accommodate requests for specific rooms, we do not guarantee a specific room prior to check in. We do guarantee the room type booked or a free upgrade if unavailable. But due to potential maintenance issues and unexpected guest stayovers, we do not guarantee specific rooms.

Children Policy
Children, 12 years and under, always stay free with an adult, when using existing bedding.

Pet Policy
Well behaved pets are welcome at the Archer House. Pets may not be left unattended in the guest room and are not allowed in public areas except when coming and going. A credit card deposit of $50.00 is required and pet owners are responsible for any damages or cleaning charges that may result.

Candle Policy
For the safety of all guests and associates, candles are not permitted in guestrooms.

Smoking Policy
All 36 guest rooms and public areas are non-smoking. Violators will be assessed a $150.00 cleaning fee and possible eviction.

Travel Agent Commissions
Rates available via our online reservations or by calling the hotel. As we are an independent hotel, Travel Agents are required to bill the hotel directly following a guest stay for commissions to be paid.
